Recreational League
Pulaski Baseball’s recreational league offers an exciting and inclusive experience for kids of all skill levels, from tee ball for 4K children to Babe Ruth baseball for 8th graders. Designed to foster teamwork, sportsmanship, and a love for the game, the league provides a fun and supportive environment where players can grow their skills while enjoying the summer with friends. Whether just starting out or looking to stay active, Pulaski Baseball’s rec league is a fantastic way for young athletes to experience the joy of America’s pastime.
Pulaski offers 7 recreational divisions listed below.
7u and 8u
Any player interested in playing on the 7u or 8u machine pitch tournaments teams, can play. There are no tryouts for these age levels. Numbers may dictate a Pod structure be used, or multiple teams formed. These teams do play in the Pulaski recreational league, and would play in 4 tournaments throughout the summer.
9u thru 14u White Teams
Pulaski Baseball also offers White tournament teams, which provide additional opportunities for players to compete and develop their skills in a slightly more competitive environment than the recreational league.
A decision will be made during the Spring based on registration numbers if there will be a White tournament team for 9u thru 14u. These players do play in the Pulaski recreational league, and would also play in 3 tournaments throughout the summer. One home tournament and two away.
13u and 14u will play in the recreational division of the Bay Area Pony/Babe Ruth League.
Ages
4k thru 8th grade

Our season begins with early practices in April and ends in July.
Where
Practices and games are held at Memorial Park in Pulaski.

Jerseys are provided as part of your registration.
Divisions
Tee Ball
Age(s): 4 & 5 (Must be 4 yrs old on April 30)
Current Grade(s): 4K
This is an instructional league designed to teach the fundamentals of the game. All players will hit off of a tee. No score will be kept.
Machine Pitch Minors
Age(s): 6 & 7
Current Grade(s): Kindergarten & 1st (not on 7U Tournament Team)
This is an instructional league designed to teach the fundamentals of the game. Players will hit off a pitching machine at a reduced speed and distance. They will also be using a softer ball. If a player is unsuccessful hitting, they will be allowed to hit off of a tee.
Machine Pitch Majors
Ages: 7 & 8
Current Grade(s): 1st Grade (7U Tournament Team players), 2nd, 3rd (not ready to play Pee Wee)
This league is designed to continue teaching the fundamentals of the game, but at the same time develop some of the more advanced requirements of the game. Players will hit off of a pitching machine, strikes recorded, with players being called out under normal rules of the game.
All games will be played on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Complete schedule will be made available after teams are selected.
Pee Wee
Ages: 9 & 10 (not on 9U or 10U Tournament teams)
Current Grade(s): 3rd & 4th
This league is designed to continue teaching the fundamentals learned in previous years with the addition of pitching, stealing and bunting. Position rotation and playing time rules exist.
Little League
Ages: 11 & 12 (not on 11U or 12U Tournament Teams)
Current Grade(s): 5th & 6th
This league is designed to continue teaching the fundamentals learned in previous years to advance players skills and abilities. Position rotation and playing time rules exist.
Pony
Age: 13
Current Grade: 7th
This is a traveling league that competes against teams from other communities in the Bay Area Pony League. It is designed to help develop more advanced skills as they increase to an intermediate sized field. Our 13u White tournament team will play in the recreational division. Games could be played on any night of the week (M-Th)
Babe Ruth
Ages: 14
Current Grade: 8th only
This is a traveling league that competes against teams from other communities in the Bay Area Babe Ruth League. It is designed to help develop more advanced skills as they increase to a regulation sized field. Our 14u White tournament team will play in the recreational division. Games could be played any night of the week (M-Th)
